### Get coin data on a date

Get a coin's price, market cap and 24 hour volume in every currency CoinGecko supports, as they stood at 00:00 UTC on a date in the past 365 days.

**Inputs**

- Coin ID (`coin_id`, text, required): The coin's CoinGecko ID (for example, bitcoin or ethereum). IDs are CoinGecko's own names, not ticker symbols: use Search CoinGecko to find a coin's ID from its name or symbol.
- Date (`date`, text, required): The date: 2026-01-31 or 31-01-2026, or a UNIX timestamp in seconds or milliseconds such as a chart gives. Within the past 365 days.

### Get coin details

Get a coin's profile from CoinGecko: what it is, its links, categories and contract addresses, and its market data in every currency, optionally with its top 100 trading pairs.

**Inputs**

- Coin ID (`coin_id`, text, required): The coin's CoinGecko ID (for example, bitcoin or ethereum). IDs are CoinGecko's own names, not ticker symbols: use Search CoinGecko to find a coin's ID from its name or symbol.
- Include market data (`include_market_data`, true/false): Leave on to include prices and market figures; turn off for the profile alone. Default: `true`.
- Include tickers (`include_tickers`, true/false): Set to true to include the coin's top 100 trading pairs. Default: `false`.

- `additional_notices` (list): Further notices about the coin.
- `asset_platform_id` (text): The platform a token is issued on, or null for a coin with its own chain.

### Get coin prices

Look up the current price of one or more cryptocurrencies in the currencies you choose, finding the coins by CoinGecko ID, ticker symbol or name. Optionally include each market cap, 24 hour volume and 24 hour change.

**Inputs**

- Coin IDs (`coin_ids`, text): The coins to look up by CoinGecko ID, separated by commas (for example, bitcoin,ethereum). Fill in this, Symbols or Names.
- Symbols (`symbols`, text): Coins to look up by ticker symbol instead, separated by commas (for example, btc,eth). A symbol several coins share gives the top ranked one.
- Names (`names`, text): Coins to look up by name instead, separated by commas (for example, Bitcoin,Ethereum).
- Currencies (`vs_currencies`, text, required): The currencies to show prices in, separated by commas (for example, usd,eur). CoinGecko's codes include usd, eur, gbp, jpy, btc and eth.
- Include market cap (`include_market_cap`, true/false): Set to true to also include each market cap.
- Include 24-hour volume (`include_24hr_vol`, true/false): Set to true to also include the trading volume over the past 24 hours.
- Include 24-hour change (`include_24hr_change`, true/false): Set to true to also include how much each price changed over the past 24 hours, as a percentage.
- Include last updated time (`include_last_updated_at`, true/false): Set to true to also include when each price was last updated, as a UNIX time in seconds (last_updated_at).
- Decimal places (`precision`, text): How many decimal places to give prices to. Leave empty for CoinGecko's default, which rounds to a few significant digits. **Inputs**

### Get price candles (OHLC)

Get a coin's open, high, low and close prices as candles over the past 1 to 365 days, oldest first. The candle size follows the span: 30 minutes over 1 day, 4 hours up to 30 days, 4 days beyond.

**Inputs**

- Coin ID (`coin_id`, text, required): The coin's CoinGecko ID (for example, bitcoin or ethereum). IDs are CoinGecko's own names, not ticker symbols: use Search CoinGecko to find a coin's ID from its name or symbol.
- Currency (`vs_currency`, text, required): The currency to show values in, as CoinGecko's code for it (for example, usd, eur, gbp or btc).
- Days (`days`, text, required): How many days back to go, which sets the candle size. ### Get token prices by contract address

Look up the current price of tokens by their contract address on a blockchain platform such as Ethereum or Solana, in the currencies you choose. Up to 10 addresses a step, each looked up in turn.

**Inputs**

- Platform ID (`platform_id`, text, required): The blockchain the tokens live on, as CoinGecko's ID for it (for example, ethereum, binance-smart-chain, polygon-pos, arbitrum-one, base or solana).
- Contract addresses (`contract_addresses`, text, required): The tokens' contract addresses, separated by commas, up to 10.
- Currencies (`vs_currencies`, text, required): The currencies to show prices in, separated by commas (for example, usd,eur). CoinGecko's codes include usd, eur, gbp, jpy, btc and eth.

List CoinGecko's coin categories (such as layer 1, meme or AI coins) with each category's market cap, 24 hour change and volume, and its three largest coins.

**Inputs**

- Order (`order`, text): How to sort the categories. Leave empty for largest market cap first. ### List coins with market data

List coins ranked by market cap or volume, each with its price, market cap, volume, 24 hour high and low, supply and all-time high. Get the top coins, or only the coins you name or a category's coins, up to 250 a page.

**Inputs**

- Currency (`vs_currency`, text, required): The currency to show values in, as CoinGecko's code for it (for example, usd, eur, gbp or btc).
- Coin IDs (`coin_ids`, text): Only these coins, by CoinGecko ID, separated by commas (for example, bitcoin,ethereum). Leave empty for all coins.
