### Check the API plan

See which CoinPaprika plan this connection is on and how much of this month's request allowance is left. Without an API key this reports the free plan and what it covers; with one it asks CoinPaprika for the plan's name, status and usage.

### Convert between currencies

Work out what an amount of one currency is worth in another, at CoinPaprika's current prices. Both sides can be a coin or a national currency, so this converts crypto to crypto, crypto to cash and cash to crypto alike.

**Inputs**

- From (`base_currency`, text, required): What to convert from. Pick a coin from the list or type any coin's name or symbol; national currencies work here too, so 'US Dollars' and 'Euro' are both valid.
- To (`quote_currency`, text, required): What to convert into. Pick a coin from the list or type any coin's name or symbol; national currencies work here too.
- Amount (`amount`, number): How much of the first currency to convert. Fractions are fine. At least 0. Default: `1`.

### Find where a coin trades

Find the markets a coin trades on, what each one is paying for it, how much changed hands there in 24 hours and what share of the day's trading that is. The busiest comes first, and any market CoinPaprika treats as an outlier (reporting figures out of line with the rest) is flagged as one.

### Get a coin's details

Look up what a coin actually is: what it does, the chain it runs on, how it reaches consensus, who is on its team, its whitepaper, its website and repository, and how big its following is on X, Reddit and GitHub. For the current price, use 'Get a coin's price'.

### Get a coin's price

Look up what one cryptocurrency is worth right now, with how far it has moved over six windows from an hour to a year, its market cap, its trading volume, its record high and how far below it the price sits. Pick the coin from the list or type its name or symbol, and choose any of 42 currencies to price it in.

### Get a coin's price history

Get a coin's price over the last so-many days, as a series of points with the volume and market cap at each, plus the high, the low and the move from end to end. Daily points reach back a full year without an API key; anything finer than a day needs one for more than the last 24 hours.

**Inputs**

- Coin (`coin`, text, required): Which cryptocurrency to look up. Pick it from the list, or type the name or symbol of any other coin CoinPaprika tracks -- Bitcoin, BTC and bitcoin all find the same coin. Where several coins answer to the same name or symbol, the one still trading with the larger market cap is used.
- How far back (`days`, number): How many days of history to fetch, ending now. A year of daily prices is as far back as CoinPaprika's free plan reaches. From 1 to 365. Default: `30`.
- One point every (`interval`, text): How far apart the price points are. Anything under a day needs an API key for more than the last 24 hours; daily points reach back a year without one. One of: `1h` (Hour), `6h` (6 hours), `12h` (12 hours), `24h` (Day), `7d` (Week), `30d` (Month). Default: `24h`.
- Priced in (`currency`, text): Which currency to report the history in. CoinPaprika keeps price history in US dollars and bitcoin only, unlike current prices. One of: `USD` (US dollars (USD)), `BTC` (Bitcoin (BTC)). Default: `USD`.

### Get an exchange and its markets

Look at one exchange: what it traded over 24 hours, a week and a month, whether its site and API are up, what it is, and its busiest markets with each one's price and volume.

### Get prices for several coins

Price a whole list of coins at once and see which of them moved most, up and down, in the last 24 hours. Use this rather than one step per coin: past a handful the whole list is priced from a single request. Any coin CoinPaprika does not know is listed separately rather than quietly left out.

### Get the crypto market overview

List the crypto exchanges CoinPaprika tracks, best-ranked first, each with what it reported trading and what CoinPaprika believes of that, over 24 hours, a week and a month, plus how many coins and markets it runs and whether it is centralised.

### Search CoinPaprika

Search CoinPaprika by name for coins, exchanges, ICOs, people and tags, each with the id the other steps take. Use it to turn a name into something a workflow can act on, or to find out whether CoinPaprika covers something at all.
