## Actions

### Search the web

Search the web with DuckDuckGo and get an instant answer: a topic summary, a direct answer or definition when one exists, and a list of related links. No API key required.

**Inputs**

- Query (`query`, text, required): What to search for.
- Keep instant answers for !bang searches (`no_redirect`, true/false): When on, a query that starts with a DuckDuckGo !bang (like '!w cats') returns instant-answer data instead of redirecting to the external site. On by default. Default: `true`.
- Skip disambiguation pages (`skip_disambig`, true/false): When on, an ambiguous term returns its most likely single meaning instead of a list of possible meanings. On by default. Default: `true`.

**Outputs**

- `abstract` (text): A short summary of the topic.
- `abstract_source` (text): Where the summary came from (e.g. Wikipedia).
- `abstract_url` (text): A link to the summary's source page.
- `answer` (text): A direct answer (e.g. for a calculation), if any.
- `answer_type` (text): The kind of direct answer (e.g. 'calc').
- `definition` (text): A dictionary definition of the term, if any.
- `definition_source` (text): Where the definition came from.
- `definition_url` (text): A link to the definition's source.
- `heading` (text): The title of the matched topic, if any.
- `image` (text): An image URL for the topic, if any.
- `query` (text): The query that was searched.
- `related_topics` (list): Related links, each with text, url, and icon.
- `response_type` (text): DuckDuckGo's answer category: A=article, D=disambiguation, C=category, N=name, E=exclusive, or empty when there is no instant answer.
- `result_count` (number): How many related topics were returned.
- `results` (list): The topic's official site links, if any.
