## Actions

### Predict gender by full name

Predict the gender associated with a full name (first and last name combined).

**Inputs**

- Full name (`full_name`, text, required): Full name to analyze

**Outputs**

- `credits_used` (number): Number of API credits consumed
- `duration` (text): Request duration
- `first_name` (text): The detected first name
- `gender` (text): Predicted gender (male/female)
- `last_name` (text): Last name extracted from the full name input
- `probability` (number): Confidence probability (0-1)
- `raw_response` (object): The full original Gender API response payload
- `result_found` (true/false): Whether a result was found
- `samples` (number): Number of samples used

**Example output**

```json
{
  "credits_used": 1,
  "duration": "38ms",
  "first_name": "Sandra",
  "gender": "female",
  "last_name": "Miller",
  "probability": 0.95,
  "raw_response": {
    "details": {
      "country": null,
      "credits_used": 1,
      "duration": "38ms",
      "first_name_sanitized": "sandra",
      "samples": 8765
    },
    "gender": "female",
    "input": {
      "full_name": "Sandra Miller"
    },
    "last_name": "Miller",
    "probability": 0.95,
    "result_found": true
  },
  "result_found": true,
  "samples": 8765
}
```

### Predict gender by name

Predict the gender associated with a first name, optionally tailored to a specific country.

**Inputs**

- Name (`name`, text, required): First name to analyze
- Country (`country`, text): Two-letter country code (for example, US or DE) to tailor the prediction to that country

**Outputs**

- `credits_used` (number): Number of API credits consumed
- `duration` (text): Request duration
- `first_name` (text): The detected first name
- `gender` (text): Predicted gender (male/female)
- `probability` (number): Confidence probability (0-1)
- `raw_response` (object): The full original Gender API response payload
- `result_found` (true/false): Whether a result was found
- `samples` (number): Number of samples used

**Example output**

```json
{
  "credits_used": 1,
  "duration": "42ms",
  "first_name": "John",
  "gender": "male",
  "probability": 0.98,
  "raw_response": {
    "details": {
      "country": null,
      "credits_used": 1,
      "duration": "42ms",
      "first_name_sanitized": "john",
      "samples": 12345
    },
    "first_name": "John",
    "gender": "male",
    "input": {
      "first_name": "John"
    },
    "probability": 0.98,
    "result_found": true
  },
  "result_found": true,
  "samples": 12345
}
