## Actions

### Get a game

Look up one game by its IGDB ID, including its rating, genres, platforms, studios, and cover art.

**Inputs**

- Game ID (`game_id`, text, required): The game's IGDB ID, as returned by Search games.

**Outputs**

- `cover_url` (text): Direct link to the cover art, ready to use
- `critic_rating` (number): Average critic rating out of 100, when IGDB has one
- `developers` (list): Studios that developed it
- `game_id` (number): The game's IGDB ID. Use with Get a game.
- `game_modes` (list): How it can be played, for example 'Single player'
- `genres` (list): Genre names, for example 'Role-playing (RPG)'
- `name` (text): The game's title
- `platforms` (list): Platforms it released on, for example 'PlayStation 5'
- `publishers` (list): Companies that published it
- `rating` (number): Average player rating out of 100
- `rating_count` (number): How many players have rated it
- `release_date` (text): The first release date as YYYY-MM-DD, or empty if unannounced
- `slug` (text): The URL-safe form of the title, for example 'the-witcher-3'
- `storyline` (text): A longer description of the plot, when IGDB has one
- `summary` (text): A short description of the game
- `themes` (list): Theme names, for example 'Fantasy' or 'Horror'
- `total_rating` (number): Player and critic ratings combined, out of 100
- `url` (text): Link to the game's page on IGDB

### Get top rated games

List the highest-rated games on IGDB, best first, with a floor on how many players must have rated them.

**Inputs**

- Minimum number of ratings (`min_rating_count`, number): Only include games rated by at least this many players. Without a floor the top of the list fills up with obscure games carrying a single perfect score. At least 0. Default: `100`.
- How many games (`limit`, number): How many games to return (1-500). From 1 to 500. Default: `10`.

**Outputs**

- `games` (list): The highest-rated games, best first

### Search games

Search IGDB's video game database by title. Editions such as 'Collector's Edition' are left out so you get the games themselves.

**Inputs**

- Title (`query`, text, required): The game title to search for, for example 'The Witcher 3'.
- How many games (`limit`, number): How many games to return (1-500). From 1 to 500. Default: `10`.
