## Actions

### Create or update subscriber

Add a subscriber to your Kit account, or update the existing subscriber if the email address is already in use.

**Inputs**

- Email address (`email_address`, text, required): Email address of the subscriber.
- First name (`first_name`, text): First name of the subscriber.
- State (`state`, text): State to create the subscriber in. Defaults to 'active'. One of: `active`, `inactive`. Default: `active`.
- Fields (`fields`, object): Custom field values, keyed by the field's label (e.g. {"Last name": "Doe"}). Each custom field must already exist on your Kit account.

**Outputs**

- `subscriber` (object): The created or updated subscriber

### Create tag

Create a tag in your Kit account, or return the existing tag if one with the same name already exists.

**Inputs**

- Name (`name`, text, required): Name of the tag to create.

**Outputs**

- `tag` (object): The created or existing tag

### Get subscriber

Look up a Kit subscriber by email address.

**Inputs**

- Email address (`email_address`, text, required): Email address of the subscriber to look up.

**Outputs**

- `subscriber` (object): The matching subscriber, or null if no subscriber has that email address

### List tags

List the tags in your Kit account.

**Inputs**: None.

**Outputs**

- `tags` (list): Tags in the account

### Tag a subscriber

Apply a tag to a subscriber (by email address) to segment them and trigger any automations attached to the tag.

**Inputs**

- Tag ID (`tag_id`, text, required): ID of the tag to apply.
- Email address (`email_address`, text, required): Email address of the subscriber to tag.

**Outputs**

- `subscriber` (object): The tagged subscriber
- `tag_id` (text): ID of the tag that was applied
