### Add new prompt to task

Send a follow-up prompt to an existing Manus task to continue the conversation or give the agent new instructions.

**Inputs**

- Task ID (`task_id`, text, required): The Manus task ID, for example 'task_abc123'. Use the 'Create task' action's output to get it, or copy it from the task URL in the Manus app.
- Prompt (`prompt`, text, required): The follow-up instruction to send to the task, for example 'Now format the results as a table.'
- Agent profile (`agent_profile`, text): Optional. Which Manus agent profile to run. Leave blank to use your account's default. One of: `manus-1.6`, `manus-1.6-lite`, `manus-1.6-max`.

**Outputs**

- `task_id` (text): The ID of the task the prompt was sent to.

### Create task

Start a new Manus task from a prompt. The task runs asynchronously; use the returned task ID with the other actions to add prompts, check its status, or delete it.

**Inputs**

- Prompt (`prompt`, text, required): The instruction for Manus to work on, for example 'Research the top 5 CRM tools and summarize their pricing.'
- Title (`title`, text): Optional custom title for the task. If left blank, Manus generates one from the prompt.
- Agent profile (`agent_profile`, text): Optional. Which Manus agent profile to run. Leave blank to use your account's default. One of: `manus-1.6`, `manus-1.6-lite`, `manus-1.6-max`.

**Outputs**

- `share_url` (text): Public share URL for the task, if shared.
- `share_visibility` (text): Sharing visibility: private, team, or public.
- `task_id` (text): The new task's unique ID.
- `task_title` (text): The task's title (generated or provided).
- `task_url` (text): URL to open the task in the Manus app.

### Delete task

Permanently delete a Manus task. This cannot be undone. Agent-related tasks cannot be deleted, and a task that is still running must be stopped from the Manus app first.

**Inputs**

- Task ID (`task_id`, text, required): The Manus task ID, for example 'task_abc123'. Use the 'Create task' action's output to get it, or copy it from the task URL in the Manus app.

**Outputs**

- `deleted` (true/false): True when the task was deleted.
- `id` (text): The ID of the deleted task.

### Get task

Retrieve a Manus task's current status and metadata, such as whether it is still running, its title, and how many credits it has used.

**Inputs**

- Task ID (`task_id`, text, required): The Manus task ID, for example 'task_abc123'. Use the 'Create task' action's output to get it, or copy it from the task URL in the Manus app.

**Outputs**: The task's status and metadata.

- `agent_profile` (text): The agent profile the task runs on.
- `created_at` (number): Creation time (Unix seconds).
- `created_by_api_key` (object): The API key that created the task (id and name), if any.
- `credit_usage` (number): Credits the task has consumed so far.
- `id` (text): The task's unique ID.
- `share_visibility` (text): Sharing visibility: private, team, or public.
- `status` (text): Task status: running, stopped, waiting, or error.
- `task_type` (text): Task type, e.g. standard, project, or agent_subtask.
- `task_url` (text): URL to open the task in the Manus app.
- `title` (text): The task's title.
- `updated_at` (number): Last update time (Unix seconds).
