### Search entities

Find services, hosts, browser apps, monitors and other entities by name, domain or type, or with New Relic's entity search syntax. Returns each entity's GUID, which the tag and change actions take.

**Inputs**

- Name contains (`name`, text): Part of the entity's name. Use % as a wildcard, such as checkout%.
- Domain (`domain`, text): Only entities from this part of New Relic. One of: `APM` (APM (services)), `BROWSER` (Browser apps), `EXT` (External / other), `INFRA` (Infrastructure (hosts)), `MOBILE` (Mobile apps), `SYNTH` (Synthetic monitors).
- Entity type (`entity_type`, text): Only this type, such as APPLICATION, HOST or MONITOR.
- Search query (`query`, text): Advanced: a full entity search, such as tags.team = 'payments' and reporting = 'true'. Used instead of the fields above when given.
- Next page cursor (`cursor`, text): Leave empty for the first page. Pass the previous step's next_cursor for the next.

**Outputs**

- `count` (number): Total matches across all pages
- `entities` (list)
- `next_cursor` (text): Cursor for the next page; empty on the last
- `query` (text): The search that was run
- `status` (text): Status of the action execution ("success" on success).
- `warnings` (list)

**Example output**

```json
{
  "count": 1,
  "entities": [
