## Actions

### List countries

Get every country Numverify can check numbers for (232 of them) with its two-letter code and dialling code, in alphabetical order.

**Inputs**: None.

**Outputs**

- `countries` (list): The countries, in alphabetical order
- `country_count` (number): How many countries there are

**Example output**

```json
{
  "countries": [
    {
      "country_code": "AF",
      "country_name": "Afghanistan",
      "dialling_code": "+93"
      "dialling_code": "+1"
    }
}
```

### Validate phone number

Check whether a phone number is real, and get it back in its international format along with its country, city or region, phone company, and whether it is a mobile or a landline. A number that is not valid is an answer, not an error: 'valid' comes back false, so a workflow can branch on it.

**Inputs**

- Phone number (`phone_number`, text, required): The number to check, written any way: with spaces, dashes or brackets, and with or without its country code.
- Country (`country`, text): The country the number is from. Only needed when the number is written without its country code, like (415) 858-6273; numbers that start with + or 00 already say which country they are from. One of: `AF` (Afghanistan), `AL` (Albania), `DZ` (Algeria), `AS` (American Samoa), `AD` (Andorra), `AO` (Angola), `AI` (Anguilla), `AG` (Antigua and Barbuda), `AR` (Argentina), `AM` (Armenia), and 222 more.

**Outputs**

- `carrier` (text): The phone company the number is registered with, where known
- `country_code` (text): The number's two-letter country code, e.g. US
- `country_name` (text): That country's name
- `dialling_code` (text): That country's dialling code, e.g. +1
- `extension` (text): The extension written after the number, if there was one
- `international_format` (text): The number with its country code, e.g. +14158586273: the format to store, or to send a text or call to
- `is_mobile` (true/false): True for a mobile number, the kind that can receive texts
- `line_type` (text): The kind of line: mobile, landline, toll_free, premium_rate, special_services, satellite or paging
- `line_type_label` (text): That kind of line in words
- `local_format` (text): The number as it is dialled inside its country
- `location` (text): The city or region the number belongs to, where known
- `number` (text): The number that was checked, digits only
- `valid` (true/false): True when this is a real, dialable phone number

**Example output**

```json
{
  "carrier": "AT&T Mobility LLC",
  "country_code": "US",
  "country_name": "United States of America",
  "dialling_code": "+1",
  "extension": null,
  "international_format": "+14158586273",
  "is_mobile": true,
  "line_type": "mobile",
  "line_type_label": "Mobile",
  "local_format": "4158586273",
  "location": "Novato",
  "number": "14158586273",
  "valid": true
}
```
