## Actions

### Append to note

Add content to the end of an existing note in your Obsidian vault.

**Inputs**

- Note path (`note_id`, text, required): The note's file path in your vault, for example 'Projects/My Note.md'. This is the 'id' returned when you create or list notes.
- Content to add (`content`, text, required): The Markdown content to add to the end of the note.

**Outputs**

- `appended` (true/false): True when the content was added successfully.
- `id` (text): The note's file path in your vault.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "appended": true,
  "id": "Projects/My Note.md"
}
```

### Create note

Create a new note in your Obsidian vault.

**Inputs**

- Title (`title`, text, required): The title for the new note. This also becomes the note's file name.
- Content (`content`, text): The content of the note, written in Markdown. Leave blank to create an empty note.
- Folder (`folder`, text): The folder in your vault to save the note in, for example 'Projects'. Leave blank to save it at the top level of the vault.

**Outputs**

- `folder` (text): The folder the note was saved in, or empty if it was saved at the top level.
- `id` (text): The note's file path in your vault. Use this to update, append to, or delete the note later.
- `title` (text): The title of the note that was created.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "folder": "Projects",
  "id": "Projects/My Note.md",
  "title": "My Note"
}
```

### Delete note

Delete a note from your Obsidian vault.

**Inputs**

- Note path (`note_id`, text, required): The note's file path in your vault, for example 'Projects/My Note.md'. This is the 'id' returned when you create or list notes.

**Outputs**

- `deleted` (true/false): True when the note was deleted.
- `id` (text): The file path of the note that was deleted.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "deleted": true,
  "id": "Projects/My Note.md"
```

### List notes

**Inputs**

- Folder (`folder`, text): Only list notes inside this folder, for example 'Projects'. Leave blank to list notes at the top level of your vault.
- Maximum notes (`limit`, number): The maximum number of notes to return.

**Outputs**

- `items` (list): The file paths of the notes found, relative to the folder that was listed.

**Example output**

```json
  "items": [
    "Daily Notes/2026-07-07.md",
    "Projects/My Note.md"
