### Generate a response with Perplexity

Sends a prompt to Perplexity and returns the generated response text.

**Inputs**

- Prompt (`prompt`, text, required): The question or instructions to send to Perplexity.
- Model (`model`, text): Choose which Perplexity Sonar model answers your prompt. All models search the web before answering. One of: `sonar` (Sonar (fast web search answers, recommended)), `sonar-pro` (Sonar Pro (deeper research, more sources)), `sonar-reasoning-pro` (Sonar Reasoning Pro (advanced reasoning)), `sonar-deep-research` (Sonar Deep Research (long, in-depth reports)). Default: `sonar`.

**Outputs**

- `model` (text): Model.
- `response_text` (text): Response text.
