## Actions

### Create object

Store a new object on restful-api.dev, with a name and any data you like, and get back its new id. It is really saved, and anyone with the id can read it, so keep it to test data. No API key required.

**Inputs**

- Name (`name`, text, required): The object's name.
- Data (`data`, object): The object's data: any fields and values you like, such as year 2024 and color Teal.

**Outputs**

- `object` (object): A restful-api.dev object.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "object": {
    "created_at": "2026-10-16T18:27:03.241Z",
    "data": {
      "color": "Teal",
      "price": 12.5,
      "year": 2026
    },
    "id": "ff808181a09d98f701a145f7b1c9755b",
    "name": "Lodol QA test object",
    "updated_at": null
  }
}
```

### Delete object

Delete an object you created from restful-api.dev, for good. No API key required.

**Inputs**

- Object id (`object_id`, text, required): The id of an object you created. The sample objects 1 to 13 can't be changed or deleted.

**Outputs**

- `deleted` (true/false): True once the object is deleted.
- `message` (text): restful-api.dev's confirmation message.
- `object_id` (text): The id of the object deleted.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "deleted": true,
  "message": "Object with id = ff808181a09d98f701a145f7b1c9755b has been deleted.",
  "object_id": "ff808181a09d98f701a145f7b1c9755b"
}
```

### Get object

Get one restful-api.dev object by its id: its name and data. No API key required.

**Inputs**

- Object id (`object_id`, text, required): The object's id: one of the sample ids 1 to 13, or the id restful-api.dev gave an object you created.

**Outputs**

- `object` (object): A restful-api.dev object.

**Example output**

```json
{
  "object": {
    "created_at": null,
    "data": {
      "CPU model": "Intel Core i9",
      "Hard disk size": "1 TB",
    "id": "7",
**Inputs**
- Ids (`ids`, list): The ids of the objects to get, up to 50. Leave empty for the 13 sample objects.
**Outputs**
- `count` (number): How many objects came back.
- `ids` (list): The ids asked for; empty for the samples.
- `objects` (list): The objects, in the order the service gave.
**Example output**
```json
{
  "count": 1,
  "ids": [
    "7"
  ],
  "objects": [
    {
      "created_at": null,
