## Actions

### Get Remaining Credits

Return the number of email-validation credits remaining on the connected ZeroBounce account. Useful for checking the balance before running a large validation job.

**Inputs**: None.

**Outputs**

- `credits` (number): Number of email-validation credits remaining

**Example output**

```json
{
  "credits": 12345
}
```

### Verify Email

Validate a single email address and return its deliverability status. The status is one of valid, invalid, catch-all, unknown, spamtrap, abuse, or do_not_mail, alongside a sub_status, mailbox and domain details, and any name, gender, or location ZeroBounce could append. Each call consumes one ZeroBounce credit.

**Inputs**

- Email address (`email`, text, required): The email address to validate, for example jane@example.com.
- IP address (`ip_address`, text): Optional. The IPv4 or IPv6 address the email signed up from, used to append geolocation to the result. Leave empty if you don't have it.

**Outputs**

- `account` (text): The local part of the address (before the @)
- `city` (text): City (if resolved)
- `country` (text): Country (if resolved)
- `did_you_mean` (text): A suggested correction for a likely typo
- `domain` (text): The domain part of the address (after the @)
- `domain_age_days` (text): Age of the domain in days
- `email` (text): The email address that was validated
- `firstname` (text): First name ZeroBounce associated with the address
- `free_email` (true/false): Whether the domain is a free email provider
- `gender` (text): Gender ZeroBounce associated with the address
- `lastname` (text): Last name ZeroBounce associated with the address
- `mx_found` (text): Whether an MX record was found ("true"/"false")
- `mx_record` (text): The MX record the domain resolves to
- `processed_at` (text): When ZeroBounce processed the request
- `raw_response` (object): The full original ZeroBounce validation payload
- `region` (text): Region (if resolved)
- `smtp_provider` (text): The SMTP provider serving the domain
- `status` (text): Deliverability status: valid, invalid, catch-all, unknown, spamtrap, abuse, or do_not_mail
- `sub_status` (text): More specific reason behind the status
- `zipcode` (text): ZIP code (if resolved)
