Invoke and manage AWS Lambda serverless functions: run functions synchronously or asynchronously with a JSON payload, list and inspect functions and their versions, and check account limits and usage.

Get account settings

Get function

Get a function's configuration, code location, tags, and reserved-concurrency settings.

Invoke function

Invoke a Lambda function with an optional JSON payload, synchronously (RequestResponse) or asynchronously (Event).

Inputs

Function namefunction_nametextRequired
The name, version/alias-qualified name, or ARN of the function to invoke (e.g. 'my-function').
Payloadpayloadobject
JSON object passed to the function as the event. Leave empty to invoke with no input.
Invocation typeinvocation_typetext
RequestResponse waits for the function and returns its output; Event queues an asynchronous invocation; DryRun validates parameters and permissions without running the function.One of: RequestResponse (RequestResponse (sync)), Event (Event (async)), DryRun (DryRun (validate only)). Default: RequestResponse.
Log typelog_typetext
Set to Tail to include the last 4 KB of the function's execution log in 'log_result' (RequestResponse only).One of: None, Tail (Tail (return logs)). Default: None.
Qualifierqualifiertext
Optional version number or alias name to invoke a specific published version of the function.
Client contextclient_contexttext
Optional base64-encoded data (up to 3,583 bytes) passed to the function in the client context object.

List function versions

List the published versions of a Lambda function.

Inputs

Function namefunction_nametextRequired
The name or ARN of the function.
Max itemsmax_itemsnumber
Maximum number of versions to return (1–10000).From 1 to 10000.

Pagination token from a previous response's 'next_marker' to fetch the next page.

List functions

List the Lambda functions in the connection's region, with pagination.

Inputs

Set to 'ALL' to include all published versions of each function in addition to the latest.One of: ALL (ALL (include all versions)).
Master regionmaster_regiontext
For a $LATEST listing, the region to filter Lambda@Edge functions by (e.g. 'us-east-1' or 'ALL').
