Globalping
App · Monitoring · 2 actions
Run network diagnostics from Globalping's global probe network. Ping a host to measure latency and packet loss, or traceroute to it to see the path and where delays occur, all from real vantage points around the world. Legal notice: this integration is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by jsDelivr, the open-source project behind Globalping. The service is provided as-is under Globalping's own terms.
Ping
Ping a host from one or more of Globalping's worldwide probes and get latency and packet-loss statistics. Great for checking whether a server is reachable and how fast it responds from a given region.
Inputs
- Target
targettextRequired - The host to measure, a domain name or an IP address, for example 'google.com', 'jsdelivr.com', or '1.1.1.1'. Do not include a scheme (no 'https://') or a path.
- From (probe location)
fromtext - Where to run the test from, as a Globalping 'magic' location: a city, country, continent, US state, cloud region, ASN (e.g. 'AS13335'), or network name. Combine parts with '+' (e.g. 'London+UK'). Leave blank or use 'world' for any probe worldwide.Default:
world. - Number of probes
limitnumber - How many probes to run the test from (each returns its own result). Between 1 and 100; defaults to 1. Keyless usage is capped by Globalping's per-source limits, and the API returns a clear error if you exceed your tier. From 1 to 100. Default:
1. - Packets
packetsnumber - How many ICMP packets to send (1–16); defaults to 3. More packets give more stable latency and loss numbers. From 1 to 16. Default:
3. - IP version
ip_versiontext - Which IP version to resolve the target to: IPv4 or IPv6. Defaults to IPv4. Ignored when the target is already a literal IP address. One of:
4(IPv4),6(IPv6). Default:4.
Outputs
idtext- The Globalping measurement ID.
probes_countnumber- Number of probes that ran the measurement.
resultslist- One entry per probe: where it ran and what it measured.
statustext- Overall measurement status; 'finished' once all probes report.
targettext- The host that was measured.
typetext- The measurement type ('ping' or 'traceroute').

Trace the network path from one or more of Globalping's worldwide probes to a host, listing each hop along the way with its round-trip time. Useful for diagnosing where latency or routing problems occur between a region and your server.
Inputs

targettextRequired - The host to measure, a domain name or an IP address, for example 'google.com', 'jsdelivr.com', or '1.1.1.1'. Do not include a scheme (no 'https://') or a path.

1. - Protocol
protocoltext - Transport protocol for the probe packets. ICMP (default) suits most cases; TCP or UDP can get through firewalls that drop ICMP. The port below only applies to TCP/UDP.One of:
ICMP,TCP,UDP. Default:ICMP. - Port
portnumber - Destination port for TCP/UDP traceroutes (0–65535); defaults to 80. Ignored when the protocol is ICMP.From 0 to 65535. Default:
80. - IP version
